A Note From the Founder
Founder & Care Coordinator
Countryside Community Care Co. was founded with a simple belief: that true care comes from the heart and should feel personal, respectful, and rooted in community.
My partner and I chose to move to a small town to start our family because the values that often come with small-town living — kindness, connection, and looking out for one another — are deeply important to us. Although I am new to Kawartha Lakes, I have felt incredibly grateful to be welcomed into such a warm, supportive, and close-knit community.
Countryside Community Care Co. was created to offer non-medical home care that reflects those values. Care that goes beyond tasks, and instead focuses on presence, trust, and treating every home as an extension of our own. Our approach is relationship-based, thoughtful, and tailored to the real routines and needs of each individual and family we serve.
We believe care should feel steady, familiar, and respectful — for clients, families, and caregivers alike. Clear communication, consistency, and dignity guide everything we do.
